Base Pictures Empty
PostSubject: Base Pictures   Base Pictures EmptyMon Mar 09, 2015 12:31 pm

Recently, I've been focusing my attention on TH8 bases that have done well vs. our dragloon attacks.  In general, we need to be sure that our air defenses are protected with the use of storages (high hp buildings).  Also, in front of those storages (or nearby), it may be a good idea to include balloon traps and skeletons that fly and distract dragons while they get shot up by our air Ds, archer towers, etc.  I've provided many links to various screenshots of bases that have defended well against us.  In some cases, we eventually got 3 stars, but the point is it took 5-10 attacks to get these 3 stars.  If we can do a better job of absorbing attacks, it will lead to more victories.

PLEASE take time to review these bases and implement these designs.  They don't need to be direct copies, but the characteristics can be taken and used in your own custom designs.  We obviously don't want to have a bunch of identical bases either, so I will populate this area with more and more screenshots of TH8 bases that have been tough to take down for us.

Thanks for reading and helping to make our clan better!!!

- This base was hit 11 times by us and finally 3 starred by CrazyDonkey with an 813 dragoon. Donkey lit up the bottom AD. Deployed dragons on top left and started heading towards the 11:00 AD. Deployed 4 inv loons to hit the 11:00 AD and kept 4 inv loons to deploy in front of the 2:30 AD followed by his cc loons. This is actually a variant of 813 called 813 trident. The 4 inv loons take out any possible air bombs and take hits from air defenses, so it's easier for the max cc loons to make their way to the last AD. Given that this specialized attack is likely needed to take out this base, it's probably a good design to use.
