Great job team. Seems our trimming and practicing has paid off. Finally we get a war that is in good balance and a active team mate. We saw major improvements on members that were struggling. Keep up the good work. Like all wars a few new members that go inactive needed to be trimmed but overall good effort guys. We did a little test with Dekalb this war to see if TH6 alt accounts can make a difference and Dekalb netted us a plus 1 star with his 4 stars and may have brought us a easier clan to battle.
That said, we still have some work to do. People in this war that had failed mass hog attacks need to think long and hard about that strategy. Mass hog strategy is only for a few select bases. If you run it make sure to bring heal spells and not rage, and to draw the clan castle. Be very weary of center mounted heroes. Truthfully you should be searching for another go to attack if you are relying on mass hog. Its not the crown jewel it once was. I fooled about with go-wipe and it proved to be pretty easy to 2 star a moderate th9, and a somewhat premie th10 with a inferno set to single. Even threw in 4 valks in my last attack, not sure really what they did as 3 of them were in the mass fury at the core, and one went around the outside and scored many buildings that might not have been had.
Seems many of us had good luck, and a few experiments pointed us in the right direction. Looking very forward to the next war!
The opposing clan in this war made a fatal error. Not sure if they did it because that is all they can do or if they are just cautious trying to maximize their stars. But they attacked down and down by a lot. Its always refreshing to see a clan that attacks down and often! On that note I need some sleep because this war got offset so far by the Halloween update that it ended at midnight.
